It took just ten minutes, boys and girls, for me to make this straightforward salad from start to finish. I don’t believe I’ll ever be able to give you a recipe that’s simpler and more straightforward than this one. Believe me when I say that the amount of time required to prepare this meal is little in comparison to the benefits it provides.

Cooking time: 5 minutes

  • 1 bunch of asparagus
  • 3 tbsp. (45ml) of organic sesame
  • 2 tbsp. (30ml) of olive oil
  • 1 tbsp. (15ml) of organic apple cider vinegar
  • Salt and pepper
  1. Cook the asparagus in salted water for 5 minutes according to the size of the vegetable. Drain and put in icy water to set the colour.
  2. Dry them and mix them in the oil, the vinegar, the salt and the pepper.
  3. Put the on a serving plate and cover with sesame seeds.

This is something I just created for my new partner, and she really loved it! In my opinion, the meal would not be nearly as tasty without the addition of the sesame. My partner, who is quite fond of vegetables, did not really like the taste of the vinegar in this dish, which I prepared for him. Nevertheless, he did like the sesame seeds that were sprinkled on top!
