Do you ever feel the desire to consume anything that is simply basic and light? Maybe like raw vegetables? If that’s the case, friend, we’ve got something just for you. You can whip up this bright and cheery-looking salad whenever the mood strikes you. Making a large quantity of it and storing it for at least two days is not difficult at all either. Now that we have that out of the way, should we begin?

Time required for preparation: 15 minutes

Put aside for 15 minutes

  • 3 organic carrots
  • 3 organic parsnips
  • 2 small organic red onions
  • 1 tbsp.(15ml) of chia seeds
  • 3 tbsp. (45ml) of organic parsley
  • 4 tbsp. (60ml) of olive oil plus more for the onions
  • 2 tbsp. (30ml) of organic apple cider vinegar
  • salt and pepper
  1. To prepare the red onion, you will need to thinly slice them and put them on a plate. Cover them with a little bit of oil and add a bit of salt. Do the same on the other side. Set aside for 15 minutes.
  2. In the meantime, you will need to shred the carrots and the parsnips.
  3. Put them in a salad bowl. Add the parsley , the chia seeds, the oil, the vinegar the salt and the pepper.
  4. Stir the salad and add the onions.

This is a terrific salad to prepare on the weekends when you have 3 or 4 hours to cook and enjoy your day! It’s delicious and quite simple to prepare.

Using this recipe was the best choice I could have made. I have now cooked it twice, and both times I have had a lot of fun eating it. When I need a light lunch or supper but don’t have a lot of time, I can make this salad instead of going out to the shop and purchasing two different kinds of salad. It’s a wonderful salad that’s at least fifty percent better for you than the ones you can buy in the shop. And obviously one hundred times more delicious:D!

This is one of my most favorite recipes. They are quite good, and the greatest thing is that you can freeze them; this makes them very convenient for times when you don’t feel like going to the store to buy a wide variety of vegetables.

This is an excellent recipe overall. There is nothing further to be said about this. When I’m too lazy to go shopping but I want to prepare a snack or something for lunch, I truly think it’s a terrific idea. I really believe it’s a great idea. That has always been successful for me, but I want to test it out with a few other kinds of veggies as well.

I had been seeking for a nice recipe for a nutritious salad, and this one seems to suit the requirements. The only thing I modified was adding a little of organic orange juice to give it a wonderful citrusy taste. Other than that, the recipe is exactly the same. This is a wonderful recipe for a salad.

Yesterday, I created this, and it turned out fantastic! The only thing I did differently was add some croutons for crunch, but they just didn’t seem to go with the salad at all to my way of thinking. Hence, the next time I make this recipe, I will exclude them entirely.

During the weekends, when you have three or four hours that you can devote to cooking without interrupting the rest of your day, this is an excellent salad to prepare. It is really simple to prepare, however it yields delicious results.
